Catering FAQs

 

How much notice do you require?

All catering orders require a minimum of 48 business hours' notice. Larger events (>50) require minimum 5 days' notice. Any orders or changes within the 48hr timeframe may incur a 10%-20% surcharge.


 

Will I be charged for delivery?

Catering orders over $20 on the RBWH campus (including QIMR, STARS & 15 Butterfield St) will be delivered free of charge.
   Catering orders under $20 can be picked up from either the Education Centre or Cafe Royale (RBWH Food Court) at no cost.
   Catering orders for any other facility will be charged a delivery fee per trip. The charge should be automatically calculated dependant on postcode provided.


 

How do I order disposable items?

All catering orders are delivered with complimentary bio-friendly single use disposables (cups, plates, napkins, cutleryetc…)

 

How do I pay?

Your catering will be charged to the Cost Centre provided at the end of the month (financial approval is the responsibility of the initiator).  If no cost centre is provided, we will generate an invoice for payment. The order can also be paid directly online or by phone via credit card.
 

I need to order multiple full days of catering - what is the best way to do this?

You can select multiple delivery times in the 'Shopping Cart'. You can also duplicate or clone orders once they are placed. Head to ' 'My Orders', then click 'Re-Order' on the order you'd like to duplicate.
